9 Toed Sloth is an apparel company that provides a creative outlet for artists and designers in the midwest. We encourage free expression and strive to help young artists monetize their creations by printing their visions on t-shirts and sharing the profit. Our mission is to remind all people that the truth still matters, and life is a rare, remarkable experience that deserves intent. We believe everyone should slow the fuck down and move with reason.
As advocates for creativity, it might seem odd that we champion logic, but authenticity and reason are at the core of our purpose. We believe life's beauty exists in truth, and we should all go forward with resolve. No wasted motion, just like the sloth.
I wish we could explain the criteria used by the sloth to determine what designs make it into production. Typically, if it's honest, tells a story, or punches you in the face with reason, it passes. However, make the sloth laugh, and you're in. Maybe.
Each product in our collection includes a description by our curator. They might tell you something about the clothing, but more likely, it will consist of an important life lesson. Or even likelier still, rambling nonsense.
